Floor-to-ceiling windows and views across the Surrey Hills give The Barn at Botley Hill a distinctive sense of space. Reclaimed details bring warmth to a venue that pairs barn character with contemporary architecture.
Floor-to-ceiling views, clean design and sunset backdrops make this a striking setting for a stylish wedding and a sleek photo booth setup.
A Venue with a View
The Barn at Botley Hill pairs reclaimed details with large windows and views across the countryside. It has the warmth of a barn setting, with an architectural feel that suits a more contemporary wedding design.
The outlook is part of the attraction. At your viewing, look at the room from your guests’ perspective as well as from the top table, and consider how your flowers and other decorations will sit alongside those views.
Three Barns, One Celebration
The venue lists exclusive use of the Main Barn, Baby Barn and Oakley Barn within its hire arrangements. The Oakley Barn and gardens are licensed for civil ceremonies, giving couples indoor and outdoor options to discuss with the team.
Capacity depends on the tables: the venue quotes up to 144 seated at long tables, around 110 at round tables and 160 for a standing evening reception. Choose the layout before committing to your final guest list.
Food, Stays and Getting Home
Catering is arranged through the venue’s approved providers, and drinks are supplied by the venue. Ask for a complete quotation covering your chosen menu, drinks and any minimum spends so you can compare the full cost.
The venue points guests towards shepherd huts and Farmhouse accommodation, subject to availability. It also recommends booking taxis ahead. Include clear travel instructions with your invitations, as the venue advises that its postcode is not unique to the site.
Keeping the Views and the Fun
A photo booth should add to the evening without blocking a key view or a busy route. Ask the venue to suggest a position within the evening layout, allowing space for both the booth and groups waiting to use it.
Large windows mean that light conditions can change considerably during the day. Plan the lighting and backdrop with your supplier, and agree setup access with the venue before the wedding. The venue also sets insurance requirements for outside suppliers.
